Our Story...

In a world of fast fashion and readily available, cheap clothing, we are encouraged to throw away as quickly as we buy, with very little consideration for the impact this has on our budget, our mental well-being, or the environment. Often, our clothes are as inconspicuous and unloved as the bag they come in.

From discount stores to expensive high-street brands, commerce conspires to encourage us to conform and continually renew our clothing, sacrificing care, attention to detail, and individuality to maximise profit. As a result, often the euphoria of buying clothing is a far greater high than actually wearing it.

Our mission at Credland and Brown is simple; to create beautiful, individually styled, personalised clothing to challenge preconceptions of fashion and ask a question... What if our clothes made us feel good EVERY time we put them on?

My name is Rebecca, and I love to sew. As a child, adult, wife and mother, I have been making, repairing and recycling garments, upholstery and household items for a long as I care to remember. I have a genuine love of bright colour and all things whimsical, and believe with all my heart that how we dress reflects how we feel.
